FireTag AI (“we”) provides software that helps US employers document monthly portable fire extinguisher visual inspections. This policy describes how we handle personal and operational data when you use our website, trial, or paid service.
Information we collect
Account data (name, work email, company, role), facility and extinguisher records you enter, inspection photos, timestamps, inspector identifiers, and usage logs needed to operate the product. If you download the free checklist or contact us, we collect the details you submit on those forms.
How we use it
We use this information to run inspections, generate OSHA 1910.157 reports, send reminders, improve AI verification quality, provide support, and communicate product updates. We do not sell personal information.
Sharing
We share data with infrastructure subprocessors (hosting, email delivery, analytics) under contract, and with your authorized teammates. We may disclose records if required by law. Inspection photos stay in your tenant unless you export or share a report.
Retention and security
Inspection logs are retained for the life of your account so you can produce them during an OSHA visit or insurance audit. You may request export or deletion. We encrypt data in transit and at rest and restrict access by role.
Your rights
